  1. This is fantastic – with one small problem (not sure who to report to…): The link to part .001 is returning a 404 error.

Thanks for the good work – I look forward to seeing what the team has done!

  2. Thanks, Chad. We’ll fix it ASAP. By know you may have figured out the pattern, but for others’ benefit, the link to the first chunk: http://download.oracle.com/otn/other/virtualbox/wcvbox/ps3pfw/WebCenterPS3VM.zip.001.

  3. It’s fixed now. Thanks for catching it!

  5. This is quite cool! I’ve got 2 issues:

    1. When I start jdev, I get a message:
    Feb 3, 2011 3:26:51 PM oracle.adf.share.jndi.ReferenceStoreHelper getReferencesMapEx
WARNING: Incomplete connection reference object for connection:Conductor

    2. Is composer accessible for the avitrust application?

    • Mark,

      1. Do you see any adverse affects, or is this just a warning in the log window?
      2. Yes, composer is there. One way to try it out is by creating a new page through the Administration Console, and editing that page (either through the Admin Console or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+E).

      • 1. I haven’t noticed anything, so I’ll ignore it for now.

        2. Yes, I see it now, thanks!

  6. hi,

    any idea.

  7. Peter, clearly you are on the WC team so you are the right guy to ask….

I downloaded the VirtualBox appliance started it, (love the instruction set by the way, very nice menu for launching all systems) but I ran into issue after issue.

The db starts up but I can only use SqlPlus with the “sys” command (alias in .bashrc). No other logins will work. Each attempt with a different log in immediately returns me to the prompt.

Also, Weblogic does come up. However, none of the additional managed server components do. There was no machine assigned to the managed servers, etc. Basically at this point the VirtualBox appliance is just taking up space.

    Have you seen these issues?

Also, I see that JDeveloper, etc. come along with this. Must one complete the WC Tutorial for all system to come up correctly? I was hoping the AviTrust would come up on starting all services but that is not happening.

I am on Win 2008 x64 with VirtualBox 4.x. I was hoping to integrate OBI 11g and WebCenter and this VirtualBox image was to give me a head start.

What are your thoughts? What am I missing here?

    Thanks in advance,

  8. Since the release of Avitrust demo is not yet available:

I would be happy to download the release:

but it seems that the links pointing to the files that I need to download are broken.

Does anyone know where I can find the Avitrust VM?
